Pooja Offerings
- Daily Pooja (One time only)
The devotee can perform one-time Homam, Abhishekam, Archanas or Alankarams for a deity or deities on any chosen date. Pooja should be booked atleast one day in advance. For Vadamalai and Modakam, booking should be done atleast 2 days in advance.
- Annual Pooja
For Annual Pooja, a devotee can perform a specific Pooja multiple times in a year. It can be for a year on the basis of the star, Thiithi, on Special Days or English Date.
Examples:
A devotee can book Milk Abhishekam for Lord Muruga on every kirthika Star for one year (13 times).
A devotee can book Milk Abhishekam for Lord Muruga on every Sukhla Sashti Day for one year (13 times)
A devotee can perform Archana to Lord Saneeswaran every Saturday for a year (52 times).
A devotee can perform Milk Abhishekam to Lord Dakshiinamurthy on 1st Thursday of every month for 12 months. (12 times)..
- Niranthara Pooja
Niranthara Pooja (Life-time): A devotee can pay a one-time contribution either for one deity or for all the deities. In this case, the devotee can choose any specific day in a year (e.g. Birthday, Wedding Anniversary or any other landmark day). The devotee can choose either an English calendar or Hindu calendar (Star based or Special Days) for choosing the date.
Poojas at the Temple can be classified into Archana, Abhishekam and Alankaram
Archanas
Archanas, such as Ashtothra, Sahasranama, Lalitha Sahasranama, Shanmukarchana (for Lord Muruga, during Navarathri), Trisathi (for Goddess Durga) can be performed either in the morning or in the evening.
Abhishekams
Abhishekam such as Milk Abhishekam, Panchamrutha Abhishekam, Rudrabhishekam, Poornabhishekam, Durga Suktha Abhishekam, Navakabhishekam, Special Panchamrutha Abhishekam can be performed in the mornings.
Alankarams
Deities can be adorned with (Vaira Kireedam, Vaira Vel, Vaira Abhaya Hastham, Poopavadai, Muthangi Seva, Swarna Peethambaram, Silver Kavacham, etc.) in the evening for all deities or for any one of them.
Homams
Ganapathi Homam, Sri Suktha Homam, Durga Suktha Homam, Navagrahah Homam can be performed on all days.
